Emily Y. Chen

I am a first year Master's student in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Intelligent Systems, Robotics, and Control track) at the University of California, San Diego advised by Dr. Xiaolong Wang.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Ilinois Urbana Champaign, advised by Dr. Shenlong Wang. My research interests lie at the intersection of computer vision and computer graphics, specifically with developing 3D neural reconstruction models for object-level and scene-level segmentation and tracking.

Currently, I am a Computer Vision Engineer Intern at NVIDIA in their Autonomous Vehicles LiDAR Perception Group.

I've also done optical quantum information research, specifically in developing a quantum memory system, with Dr. Paul Kwiat's group.
